Terms of Service
These terms apply to every order placed on wuxitides.net with WuXi TIDES ("we", "us"). By placing an order you accept them. Please read the research-use section carefully - it is the basis on which we sell.
1. Who we are
WuXi TIDES, Wuxi, China. Contact: info@wuxitides.net. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. Research use only
Everything we sell is a laboratory research reagent, supplied strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use. Our products are not drugs, medicines, food, supplements or cosmetics; they are not approved for human or animal consumption, and they must not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes of any kind.
By ordering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes, that you are responsible for handling the materials safely and lawfully, and that you have checked that importing and possessing the products is permitted where you are. You agree not to resell products for any prohibited use.
3. Orders
An order is placed when you complete checkout. It becomes binding when payment is received; until then it is reserved for you and we may send a reminder about it (each reminder can be stopped with one click). We may decline or cancel an order - for example where we cannot verify it, where it appears not to be for research use, or where we cannot lawfully ship to the destination - and will refund any payment taken.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars unless you select a warehouse that prices in another currency; converted amounts shown for information are approximate. Payment is in advance, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through independent payment providers, or by cryptocurrency. Card payments are processed by the provider you choose at checkout under its terms; a provider may ask you to verify your identity or age. Where a cryptocurrency price is quoted with a discount, the discount applies only to payment in that form. Volume discounts and promotional codes are applied at checkout and cannot be combined beyond what the checkout allows.
5. Shipping
Orders ship from the warehouse selected at checkout, tracked, with the tracking number emailed on dispatch. Shipping is Delivered Duty Paid: any import duty, customs or handling charge on the route is included in the price you pay, and if a courier ever asks you for such a charge you should not pay it and should contact us. Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates. If a parcel is lost, seized or arrives damaged, tell us with your order number and any notice or photo you have, and we will reship free of charge in the first instance.
6. Refunds and replacements
We offer a 60-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with an order, contact us within 60 days of delivery with your order number and we will offer, at your choice, a full refund, a free replacement, or store credit worth 110% of the order value. Refunds are returned by the method you paid with where possible. Cancellations before dispatch are refunded in full. Nothing in this section affects any rights you have under the law of your country.
7. Product information and testing
We describe products, purities and specifications in good faith and make independent laboratory reports available where we hold them. Because products are research reagents, we make no claim about their effects, and nothing on the site is medical, health or safety advice.
8. Communications
We use the email address you give us to send the emails needed to run your order (confirmation, payment, shipping, replies to your questions) and, if an order is left unpaid, a short reminder that you can stop with one click. We do not send marketing to customers who have not asked for it.
9. Intellectual property and site use
The content of wuxitides.net is ours or licensed to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. You must not interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it to place fraudulent orders.
10. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of a product other than for lawful laboratory research as described in section 2. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. General
These terms are governed by the law of the country in which WuXi TIDES is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you order applies to that order.
